Hi, I’m Charyl! I can’t wait to help you discover your full potential.

Here is a little background information about me. In 2009 I became a Personal Trainer and my focus was solely on training my clients from an aesthetics perspective. In an effort to further my career, I enrolled in a masters program for Exercise Science Rehabilitation at PennWest University (Formerly California University of Pennsylvania). With my new degree, I was able to find a job as a Personal Training Instructor at a local vocational school, where I taught others the knowledge needed to become a personal trainer. Shortly after starting my new job,Ā however, I suffered a complete Achilles tendon tear and for the first time in my life I experienced a severe injury that required surgery as well as physical therapy.

It was the recovery from that injury where I started to really shift my focus from looking at fitness just merely from the perspective of a reduction in fat loss to creating a body that moves more efficiently to not only move better, but also reduce risk of injury. Fast forward to 2023, after the birth of my second child, I leaned into yoga to get my body back into shape in addition to traditional strength training. So much so that I got certified as a yoga teacher. As I am always looking to learn as much as I can about the human movement system, I soon thereafter got certified as a Mobility Specialist from Functional Range Systems.

Having found benefit in strength training, yoga and mobility training, it has become my goal to spread my love of health and wellness using all 3 disciplines. Helping people reach their goals using Yoga, Mobility and Strength!
